President's Message
The end of the school year is always a much anticipated time for our school children, celebrating the end of classes and looking forward to the fun days of summer. It is a bittersweet time for those of us with graduating seniors and we spend this time wondering how the time flew by so quickly, while excited for the new adventure our children will face.
As I reflect on my own son's graduation, I am reminded that we never stop learning. Life is full of opportunities, in which we need continual training and education. As REALTORS we are faced with changes in our industry, technology, and laws. At BAAR, we have a very active Education Committee, which provides access to free CE Classes, workshops, and training. If you have a passion for education, we could use your help on our Education Committee.
Congratulations to our 2024 Graduates and a heart felt thank you to all of their parents.

BAAR Participates in the Senior Summit
|
Our BAAR members participated in the Queen Anne's County Department of Community Services Area Agency on Aging's 19th Annual Senior Summit. This event was held at the QAC 4 H Park in Centreville and celebrated Older Americans Month. Thank you to all of our members who came out to make this event a great success.

2024 Legislative Wrap Up
BAAR held our 2024 Legislative Session Wrap-Up over Breakfast April 24th at the Kent Island Yach Club. An analysis of the legislation relevant to the real estate community was presented by our local legislators: From the 36th District, we had Sen. Steve Hershey, Del. Steve Arentz, Del. Jay Jacobs and Del. Jeff Ghrist. From the 37th District, Del. Chris Adams and from Maryland Realtors guest speaker Lisa May, Director of Advocacy and Public Policy.
