President's Message For those of you that know me, it's never too early to start the countdown to Christmas! So, save the date for the BAAR Christmas Angel's event on Friday October 4th! If you are as passionate about making sure every child has a happy Christmas, then please join me as a volunteer to make this year's event even more successful than last year!
While we are talking about helping our community don't miss our "Back to School" Trivia Nights at Cult Classic on Kent Island on August 8th and the Blue Bird Tavern in Chestertown on August 13th. Bring a team or join one while you are there. And if you come to Chestertown....let's, give the Kent County teachers a run for their money!
Enjoy these dog days of summer and I look forward to seeing you at our events to help our community!

BAAR Hosts Affiliate Appreciation & Networking Cruise! |

Thank you to all of our Affiliate Members of the Bay Area Association of REALTORS. In appreciation for all that they do for our community and our REALTOR members, we hosted our first Affiliate Appreciation Cruise Event. We set sail aboard the Chester River Packet Company in Chestertown, MD for 2 hours of dinner, drinks and networking. Join us next cruise for a fun relaxing time of mingling! |

New Settlement Compliance Forms
Maryland REALTORS® legal team and forms committee have been hard at work updating forms to implement changes needed to comply with the settlement agreement and to make compensation more transparent. Links to the updated forms are below. These forms are being issued as "DRAFT" forms so that members have the chance to see them ahead of the NAR Settlement date. There are 5 practice forms in total. The practice forms will live on Maryland REALTORS' website under the Statewide Forms Page. You can log into the website to access these "DRAFT" forms at any time.
