President's Message

As we step into the new year, I want to take a moment to reflect on the remarkable progress we’ve achieved as an organization. Our success would not have been possible without the visionary leadership of our outgoing president, Linda Austin.

I am incredibly grateful for the countless hours Linda devoted to BAAR, championing new initiatives and strengthening our community relationships. Her dedication, combined with the unwavering support of our board, has set a strong foundation for the future of our association. 

To continue our growth and success, we need everyone’s involvement. Volunteering for a committee or committee chair role is a great way to contribute to the future of our association and help make it even stronger.

Wishing you a joyful, healthy, and prosperous New Year! Together, let’s make 2025 a year of continued growth, collaboration, and success.

It’s BAAR and MD Realtors® Awards season again! Please note, your input is our only source for your Agents to receive recognition!  There are 3 other Awards that BAAR has in addition to Maryland State awards. The J. Hurst Purnell Award, Affiliate of the Year & Rookie of the Year.  Please send in your Agent’s Production numbers as well. Calculate the time frame using January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024. We will need Total Units and Sales Volume.  Please send back your applications and production information by January 15, 2025

NAR's REALTOR Party Training Conference

Mid-Shore Gives Raises $102K

On Tuesday, December 3rd, Mid-Shore Community Foundation hosted Mid-Shore Gives 2024, an online Giving Day Event to benefit nonprofit organizations in Caroline, Dorchester, Kent, Queen Anne's, and Talbot Counties. 355 donors joined together to support 68 participating organizations and raised a total of $101,748 in 24 hours!
