President's Message
As we officially transition into the summer season, I hope you're all looking forward to longer days and warmer weather. For many of us in real estate, summer often brings renewed energy to the market. However, we also know that this renewed energy exists alongside the continually changing impacts of national and state political actions, which can present both challenges and opportunities. Rest assured, BAAR remains committed to providing you with the resources and support to navigate these shifting landscapes.
Speaking of resources, I encourage you to read this entire newsletter carefully, as it's packed with important updates and exciting news! First, I'm pleased to officially welcome Ken Roderick as our new Vice President and Chessie Knapp as our newest Director. Both bring valuable experience and dedication to our leadership team, and I know they will be tremendous assets to our association.

This is a development we've been working hard on, and it represents a significant benefit that will enhance your business operations and expand your reach. Be sure to read the full details and understand how this new reciprocity can benefit you.
Finally, I want to highlight an incredibly important and timely CE course coming up: "Trafficking in Real Estate" on June 17th. This is a critical topic that every Realtor should be informed about, equipping you with the knowledge to recognize and prevent these heinous acts. It's a testament to our commitment to not only support your business but also to empower you to be a force for good in our communities. 📣 SENTRILOCK UPDATE! 📣
We are now in SentriLock Full Reciprocity with Coastal Association of Realtors!
This means that BAAR members (with an active SentriLock membership) now have automatic access to use SentriLock lockboxes in Coastal's region.

Membership Dues Schedule and Payment Information:
- November: BAAR Primary & Secondary Memberships renew.
- January: BAAR Affiliate Memberships renew.
- March: SentriLock Memberships renew.
Please note:
- BAAR does not store credit cards on file and does not offer any autopay options.
- To make a dues payment, members must pay by one of the following ways:
- Online with a credit/debit card through their BAAR member account
- Online with a credit/debit card by clicking the link provided on the dues' invoice
- Over the phone with a credit/debit card by calling the BAAR office during business hours
- If dues are not paid by the deadline, there will be a $100 late fee applied.

ONLINE CE CLASS REMINDER!
All online CE classes are recorded and monitored. The following are reminders to ensure you receive your credit for the class:
- You must be signed in at least 5 minutes before class starts.
- Change your Zoom screen name to: "BAAR – [your name]."
- Your camera must remain on at all times (no photos).
- You cannot be distracted with other activities.
- You must be stationary and not driving.
- Do not log out during breaks as it requires re-entry.
Additionally, any cancellations must be received via email 24 hours prior to the start of the class or you will be charged for the class.
